Art has always been Tara’s way of expressing what words cannot.
Tara Zarabi has loved art for as long as she can remember. From the earliest years of her life, creating became a source of comfort, expression, and strength—a constant that has carried her through every chapter.
Raised in Alicante, Spain, Tara grew up beside the Mediterranean, swimming, spending summers by the shore, and painting in the sand. Her Iranian heritage and Spanish upbringing shaped a perspective rich in color, culture, emotion, and connection.
Today, living in Southern California near Laguna Beach, she draws inspiration from many sources: culture, nature, interiors, emotion, color, and the ocean that has always calmed her. Her work moves freely between coastal scenes, abstraction, botanicals, dimensional resin, and mixed-media experimentation.
Every Tara Zarabi artwork is an original, made by hand and created to bring presence, beauty, and a feeling of escape into the collector’s space.

Tara presented a collection of original resin and mixed-media artworks at Laguna Art Gallery in 2020. The exhibition brought together vivid fluid compositions, sculptural surfaces, coastal influence, and her continuing exploration of color and light.
